The School of Arts & Sciences hosts an annual Student Symposium every April, which showcases hundreds of student research projects from across the disciplines. The event, held at the Modlin Center for the Arts, consists of oral presentations, poster sessions, performances and art exhibits and brings out the entire campus community.
The Symposium gives students the opportunity to present their work in a professional setting, comparable to any international conference or discipline-specific symposium. Students apply to participate in February, competing for presentation slots that put the punctuation mark on their research experience. Most students present work that they’ve completed during the previous summer and academic year.
This April 17, the School hosts its 24th annual Student Research Symposium.
