Student Symposium Research Video Contest
The School of Arts & Sciences announced the winners of its first Student Symposium Research Video Contest at the 22nd Annual Student Symposium, held April 18, 2008 at the Modlin Center for the Arts. The videos highlight some of the research projects students presented at the Student Symposium.
The winning video and runners-up were selected based on number of YouTube views and a set of judges’ criteria, which incorporated points for creativity, production quality, relevance to the research topic and inspirational value to other students considering becoming involved in undergraduate research. Prizes of $500, $250 and $100 were awarded to first-, second- and third-place winners respectively. Two $50 honorable mentions were awarded.
