Mark the 400th anniversary of Galileo's first astronomical use of the telescope. In celebration of scientific discovery, everyone everywhere is encouraged to look through a telescope at least once this year.

The evening of the Symposium, April 17, you are invited to come stargaze at Skywatch, presented by the Richmond Astronomical Society. The RAS will set up their telescopes for public use.

The Department of Physics will host a brief presentation about the night sky in the Gottwald Science Center's auditorium at 7:30 PM. At dark, attendees will walk to the football practice fields for an evening under the stars.

Bring family and friends. Refreshments will be provided.

Skywatch locations are numbers 45 and 48 on the campus map.
