Visiting Lecturer of Sociology

The Department of Sociology & Anthropology at the University of Richmond invites applications for a one-year, non-tenure-track position in sociology, to begin in August 2009. The position requires teaching four courses per semester, including Introductory Sociology.

Areas of specialization are open, but preference will be given to those who can teach a basic undergraduate course in social change and globalization, as well as sociological theory. A master’s degree in sociology is required, with additional graduate training preferred.
