Student Research

Student Research

Whether it’s in the lab, the art studio, or the archives, students are encouraged to get involved in undergraduate research as early as their first year on campus. Taking part in undergraduate research opportunities can help students supplement classroom learning, refine career goals, and prepare for the rigors of graduate school. Students can choose to work on a project of their own design, or as part of a faculty member’s research grant. All students conducting research select a faculty mentor who advises them throughout the research process.
