Department Symposia
In addition to participating in the School of Arts & Sciences' annual Student Research Symposium, many departments and programs across the School offer students the opportunity to present their work in a variety of discipline-specific forums.
Latin American, Latino, and Iberian Studies Senior Symposium
The Department of Latin American, Latino, and Iberian Studies hosts a symposium each April, showcasing the work of every graduating senior who has majored in LALIS. Each student gives a 10-minute presentation in Spanish. The symposium also typically includes a keynote address.
Senior Art Exhibit
Studio art majors graduating with honors put on a gallery exhibit each spring. The exhibit typically goes on display at both the University of Richmond's Modlin Center and a local gallery in the City of Richmond, giving students the opportunity to showcase their work to both the University community and the greater region.
