Tucker-Boatwright Festival Film Screenings
As part of this year’s Tucker-Boatwright Festival, the English Department and Boatwright Library will partner to screen several films recommended by our series guests. These films all speak to the Festival theme of how narrative operates across critical and commercial borders, exploring distinctions between “popular” and “high” artistic models—even questioning whether such distinctions remain useful in contemporary conversation. All screenings will take place in Adams Auditorium in the Media Resource Center/Boatwright Library. They are free and open to the public, though seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Each screening is timed to precede the campus visit of the writer who recommended the film, as indicated in the schedule below. Please contact David Stevens in the English Department (dstevens@richmond.edu) with questions.
